Rocksmith aspires to be a step up from the legendary Guitar Hero as it allows players to use their own, real electric guitars. Leveraging the success of their initial offering, Rocksmith expanded to include Bass Guitar as well. To launch the news, the company ran a contest asking users to upload their own videos with a chance they would be included in the trailer.
